and Penrith (M6 J40) around 20 minutes the west of the town.
Bowness and Windermere are situated right in the heart of
the English Lake District on the eastern shore of Lake Windermere.
The town features a wealth of visitor attractions for all
ages and offers easy access to the rest of the Lakeland towns
such as Ambleside, Grasmere and Coniston.
